- A view of the recently improved "Main Street", the intersection of Hamilton and Okemos roads looking east. The building at the left edge of the photograph was the Union Hotel, and the one next to it was the Odd Fellows' Hall, followed by a white wood-sided general store. Hamilton Road was formerly known as Detroit Road. This is a duplicate photograph. The original source is unknown.

- A marching band in the Oldsmobile Parade down Washington Avenue, part of a three-day salute to Oldsmobile in Lansing. Signs for the LaBelle Lodge and Plaza hotels, Roy's Steak House, Mark's Jewelry and Luggage, the Charcoal Gallery restaurant, and Vandervoort's Hardware are all visible. All of Lansing's high school marching bands were represented in this parade.
