Bird's-eye view of the new Lincoln Highway construction in Jersey City. This connects the Hudson River vehicular tunnel with Newark. The project comprises a 2,500 foot concrete viaduct, a depressed roadway through the business section of Jersey City and a new roadway across the Kearney meadows to New York. Length of project, 16 miles; cost $25,000,000.00. More than one and one-half million dollars a mile.
