Centennial Parade Man

Description:
An unidentified man in a top hat and a long coat, with a Lansing Centennial souvenir ribbon at his collar and a centennial button on his lapel. Behind him can be seen part of the S. G. Kresge store and City Hall (in the process of being dismantled). A kiosk with advertising for the College Rexall Drugs in East Lansing is also visible; there was a branch of this drug store chain on South Washington Street in downtown Lansing as well. The photograph was taken on Capitol Avenue in Lansing. Originally part of the Carl Dalrymple Collection. Image has been partially hand tinted.
