Notes:
Pinkish buff clay with polished surface. Brown-black glaze fired red in spots. Applied red: breasts and middle wing stripe on sirens and upper wing stripe of water bird. Incisions. Three horizontal bars on handle. Three stripes above design and five below. Body: heraldic arrangement of water birds between two sirens with dots and buds in field: faces right. Handle and body below blackened as if by smoke. Aryballos. Clay.
