Brody also describes pursuing a doctorate in Philosophy while in medical school, his early research, how he began to specialize in teaching medical ethics, Olin Health Center as MSU's early college hospital, moving to the new Life Sciences building, his residency in Virginia, and the creation of the Center for Ethics and the Humanities. MSU Professor Emeritus David J. Kallen conducts the interview as part of the MSU Department of Pediatrics and Human Development Oral History Project.
