1918 publication of "The springtide of life, poems of childhood," by Algernon Charles Swinburne with a preface by Edmund Gosse. This edition was illustrated by famous illustrator Arthur Rackham. It has an illustrated title page printed in colors and ornamented end-papers. It was printed in Great Britain. The content was selected from "Poems and ballads, second series" (1878), "Tristam of Lyonesse and other poems" (1882), "A century of roundels" (1883), and "Poems and ballads, third series" (1889) and was supplemented by the cycle of poems called ʻA dark month."ʼ cf.
