In an oral history interview, Bruce Miller, professor emeritus of Philosophy at Michigan State University, explains how he came to be involved in academic governance and the faculty grievance process at MSU and his tenure as Faculty Grievance Officer. Miller discusses the nature of the grievance process at MSU and how it evolved over time and then talks about several of the cases he was involved in. He also talks about efforts to unionize the faculty at MSU. Miller is interviewed by John Revitte, current MSU faculty grievance officer and professor of Labor and Industrial Relations.
