Three Jamaicans, Edknah Cameron, Francis Robinson, and Steadman D. Smith (l-r), bring in their baskets of beans to be weighed on the John Kiley farm near Hamilton, Madison County, NY. Even when the path is rough, most of the Jamaicans from the Moscow Hill farm labor camp carry full baskets on their heads, sometimes without using their hands at all. July 1944. Gift of M. Feingold.
