Description:
Color postcard depicting the TASHMOO with many people on deck. Printed on verso: THE STEAMER TASHMOO is the pride of the White Star Line. She was constructed especially for use as a river excursion boat and carries 4,000 passengers on her broad decks. The Tashmoo's regular run in from Detroit to Post Huron, passing through the Detroit River, Lake St. Clair, the St. Clair Flats and St. Clair River. At Tashmoo Park, where the steamer touches, a large picnic and dancing pavilion are maintained. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jan 30, 1911.
