Notes:
Spindle and whorl of bone (or ivory). Spindle is smoothly finished and has a V-shaped gouge in the handle similar to a crochet hook. The whorl is a flat, round disk with concentric circles engraved on both sides. Spindle broken at tip; chips in edges of whorl. Miscellaneous black paint in circle decorations and patch of red paint on handle.
