Color postcard depicting the Amusement Building on Boblo Island with many people standing in front. Printed on verso: Landing at Bois Blanc, Detroit River. One of Detroit's favorite pleasure grounds is at Bois Blanc, an island at the mouth of the river in Canadian waters. The island is owned by the Detroit, Belle Isle and Windsor Ferry Co., comprises 225 acres and is equipped with a casino, dancing pavilion, athletic field and similar conveniences. The fine steamer Columbia covers the run several times daily. A handwritten message is on the verso, postmarked Jul 11, 1908. "No. 201 Published by A.C. Dietsche, Detroit, Mich. Printed in Germany" is printed along the left edge of the verso.
