The H. P. French Store

Description:

Several unidentified men and a horse and buggy in front of a wood-frame building with the name H. P. French across the awning, possibly in Charlotte, Mich. According to the 1907-1908 Michigan State Gazetteer and Business Directory, an H. P. French operated a "Coin Controlled Machine Company" in Charlotte. The same H. P. French was likely the operator of Waverly Park near Lansing in about 1912.
