This Desk, in the collection of The Henry Ford, consists of a work surface and shelf made of white plastic laminated wood with walnut veneer on the back and sides. The back edge of the top work surface is decorated with multicolored, painted wood pigeon hole dividers. There are also two ebonized wood pencil drawers attached to the surface. The base is made of two tubular swaged metal units supported by four curved legs with black plastic glides and a cross support of walnut veneer. The swaged legs half make up the product name of this pieces: Swag-Leg Desk.
