Grand Army of the Republic float

Notes:

G.A.R. float when Grand Rapids was headquarters for the G.A.R. convention in 1925. At the center of the float is a gun turret, flanked by two white structures decorated with patriotic insignia. The float is parked in front of a building marked “ND TRU”, probably the Grand Trunk building.
