Sepia-toned photograph depicting Eagle Boat No. 1 tied to the outfitting dock at the Ford River Rouge Factory Complex, as taken from the over the shore off its port quarter. The boat appears to be nearly complete. A large canvas awning covers the rear deck. Workers paint the hull near the port bow. "Eagle Boat - 1" is painted on the transom. The rail track running parallel to the river used by a rail-mounted crane to lift the turbine engine and other heavy material aboard is in view. U.S.Navy are posted outside of several buildings across the river. Lower right hand corner of photo has number and date of photo: 22968-9-06-18 with a No. 1 above the date. Photo mounted on a linen backing.
