Black and white postcard depicting a man in a diving suit standing on a ladder with two other men behind him. The BRITANNIA with its decks packed with passengers is in the background. Printed on verso: Bob-lo, Bois Blanc Island, Detroit River, one of Detroit's favorite pleasure grounds is situated in Canadian waters at the junction of Detroit River and Lake Erie. The Island is owned by the Detroit, Belle Isle, & Windsor Ferry Co., comprises 225 acres and is equipped with a Casino, Dancing Pavilion, Athletic Field, Bathing Beach and similar conveniences. The fine steamer Columbia covers the run several times daily. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Aug 10, 1909.
