Spanish American War Statue

Notes:

Statue place in Lookout Park. The figure of a soldier stands atop a boulder holding a rifle low across his body with both hands. The plaque in front is pictured in #258. Another plaque on the side of the monument is seen in ¾ view. Since the image appears to be reversed, as a sign saying “Keep off the Monument” is in reverse lettering, the side plaque is unreadable. Parts of two residences can be seen in the background.
