Description:

A view from one of the upper floors of the Michigan state capitol building, possibly from where Henry S. North had his office as Deputy Commissioner of Insurance. The view is to the northeast, across Capitol Avenue toward the post office and Lansing City Hall. Note on sleeve: "No. 113. June 19, 1899. 2:30 pm. Bright sun. Lf. Opr. Hat. 12-14 seconds Velux."
