Sand Springs, Nevada. The new grade across the Fallon Sink built at a cost of $76,000 between Sand Springs and the four and eight mile flats in Churchill County at distance of 11.7 miles. The grade is over five feet above flat, concrete culverts and a surface of flat covered with crystallized borax. Lincoln Highway Association project #1 involving $45,500 from General Motors Fund.
