Description:
Color-tinted postcard image with a fountain in the foreground at the southeast corner of Woodward and Maple in "library park." Grass and shade trees and sidewalk near the fountain, and a brick building in the background across the intersection (Levinson's Department Store). Fountain statue depicts boy holding umbrella and girl peeking over his shoulder. Fountain built in 1891 (Chicago) and installed to commemorate the city's first water pipe.
