Sepia-toned photograph depicting the manufacture of the nearly completed "pattern" Eagle Boat at the Ford Highland Park Factory, viewed from above, looking bow to stern. Its mast and chart house are installed and its lifeboat rests on the floor off of its starboard side. This boat served as the pattern for other Eagle Boats manufactured at the Ford Rouge Complex. This boat, after completion, was then disassembled and each was part given a code number and then used as a template for the other Eagle Boats. Lower right hand corner shows photo number and date of photo: 22483-6-19-18. Photo mounted on a linen backing.
