- One architectural drawing entitled "Plans of Laboratory for Park Davis and Co., Detroit, Mich." The drawing consists of red and black ink on linen and shows front and side elevation views of a proposed 2-story laboratory building. A building cross-section detail is also shown along with a plan detail which shows the building being bounded by Atwater Street, McDougall Ave., and Guoin Street. The plan was prepared by "Carl Schmid, Archt. [Architect], 465 Grand River Ave." at a scale of 1 inch = 8 feet and is dated 1885.

- Invitation to the formal opening and dedication of City Hall on July 4, 1871. The invitation is printed on yellow paper with a check pattern watermark. It reads: Detroit, June, 1871 Dear Sir: You are respectfully invited to the City of Detroit, as the guest of its Citizens, on the Fourth of July. In addition to appropriate ceremonies in celebration of the day, the occasion as been selected for the Formal Opening and Dedication of our new City Hall. It is desirable to have your letter of acceptable as early as the 15th inst., in order that time may be afforded for sending you the necessary tickets. Respectfully, etc., Wm. W. Wheaton, Mayor, C.C. - Invitation to the unveiling of the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, printed with a message from the Committee on Invitations Chairman, Russell A. Alger. The invitation had been half folded, on one only face printed upon, then folded again in thirds. The invitation reads: Michigan Soldiers and Sailors Monument Detroit, 6th March, 1872 Sir You are respectfully invited to attend the Ceremony of unveiling the Monument at this place; Tuesday, April 9th, 1872 at 1 o'clock P.M. - Sketch, "Front Elevation of Mansion House for T.H. Eaton Esq. Detroit," drawn in 1842. The sketch, done in black lines on tan paper, shows the facade of the mansion house described, including the doorway, four ground level windows, three second story windows with balconies, and a portion of a side entrance to the right. The house was designed by Otis & Brown Architects, Buffalo, N.Y. Handwritten text on the bottom right reads "sketch made sometime between 1842 and 1852. built in [piece missing]." Mounted on linen.

- Pass to the speaker's stand for the unveiling of the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, on April 9th, 1872. The ticket is printed in black, red, and green, on white cardstock, with the message, "Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, Unveiling Ceremony, Detroit, Tuesday, April 9, 1872. Admit the bearer to the speakers stand. "Unveiling ceremony," is printed within a scroll motif, and the corners are decorated with scrollwork flourishes. The verso bears the signature of Russell A. Alger.

- One booklet entitled "Specification of Materials and Labor Required for the Construction and Completion of a Garage and Greenhouse for Mr. C. G. Edgar Located at 188 Iroquois Avenue, Detroit." The architectural specifications (Job 675, Set No. 5) are bound in a booklet that has a heavy brown paper cover and two brass fasteners on the left side. The first page has typewritten text that shows general project information and indicates that the specifications and accompanying drawings were prepared by "Albert Kahn, Architect, Ernest Wilby, Associate, #58-60 Lafayette Blvd, Detroit." The following 41 typewritten pages give brief descriptions of all of the materials and construction requirements for the project.
