The cover declares that the hotel is a member of the United States Food Administration, and urges the conservation of food for the war effort. Additionally, a disclaimer on the cover cautions that the management declines responsibility to damage to clothing caused by accidents in the dining room. A special Business Men's Luncheon is offered with in, as well as oysters, hors d'oeuvres, soups, fish, vegetables, sandwiches, salads, and desserts.

- Half-folded invitation card to the 1907 Fall Opening of the Newcomb-Endicott Company on October 2 and 3. The card's cover features the Newcomb-Endicott crest atop a pair of red leaves in the top right corner against a beige background. A half-folded leaf of lightweight paper, bound within by white cord, is printed with the crest and the message, "The favor of your presence is requested at our Fall Opening Wednesday and Thursday October Second and Third Nineteen Hundred and Seven Exhibiting Latest Importations in Gowns, Millinery and Wraps, Foreign Silks and Dress Fabrics. Newcomb-Endicott Company, Detroit."

- One copyright registration, "No. 121 I," dated January 3, 1878, issued by the "Library of Congress, Copyright Office, Washington." The registration form is printed in black text on white paper and includes blank lines that have been completed in handwritten black ink text. It indicates that a copyright was issued to the Richmond & Backus Company of Detroit for a "Book or Form" which is described in more specific detail in handwritten text. The registration form was signed in the lower right corner by "A. R. [Ainsworth Rand] Spofford, Librarian of Congress." An oval-shaped embossed seal of the Copyright Office is located in the upper left corner of the form.

- D.M. Ferry and Company shipping confirmation form sent to A.E. Phillips of Sinclairville, New York on January 22, 1898 stating that a box of Standard Garden Seeds has been sent care of S[?].L. Crofoot. The field in the form used to describe the shipping charges has been filling in with a dash. The form's header includes an engraving of the D.M. Ferry and Company Seed Warehouse, as well as a list of company executives. "Our magnificent New Sweet Pease will please your Customers. Our New Seed Annual is a Gem. We will send you one. The Quality of our seeds is always the best. The Best is always the Cheapest." is printed at the bottom of the form.

- J.T. Wing and Company invoice for $7.31 for alligator hooks, leather belts, hose, and clamps sold to the E.J. Dossin Company on June 13, 1923. The initial total was discounted in pencil. The invoice features a letterhead touting J.T. Wing's compliance with the Child Labor Act, and promoting their "High Speed Graphite Babbitt," and "Detroit star Grinding Wheels." "We carry a full line of genuine wrought iron and steel pipe," is stamped in the lower left corner.

- A letter from Ralph Emery, a clerk working for the Detroit Stove Works, to his father, Robert T. Emery, in Belfast, Maine, dated December 4, 1886. The letter is written on Detroit Stove Works letterhead, which features a lithograph, credited to the Calvert Lithograph Company, depicting the Detroit Stove Works offices in Detroit and Chicago as well as the company's foundry in Hamtramck, Michigan. The letter reads: My dear Father, Have not written you for over a week as have had nothing particular to write about. We have had no snow to amount to anything, still have had some quite cold weather, the river is full of ice, coming down from the lakes. I have not fully recovered from my cold yet + just at present have a little boil inside of my nose which is very painful. As regarding my plans, do not think I can do better than to remain here for the present at any rate, there may be something turn up the first of the year by which I may get promoted but even if there is not then shall hope to soon. Had a letter from Miss [Rocaf?] a few days ago. Mr. Stone + family have left Montreal + gone to Philadelphia + he is now Rector of Grace Church in that City. The church I understand is a very large one + they like the change very much although sorry to leave Montreal. I am very glad they are making improvements to the Railroad Station it was a change much needed + will be appreciated by all who have any friends in the city all - The lantern you have made for the [------] must be a great benefit not to yourself but to all who have come the house - as the Corner there is very dark + a particularly bad place when it is wet. Am glad you are having such good success with the paper + hope it will be a great success. Remember me kindly to all friends - + hoping to hear from you again soon. Your affec. son, Ralph Emery
