- Mounted Russell House dinner menu, printed by the Calvert Lithographing Company, dated December 29, 1871. The menu was half-folded but has been mounted flat. On the left panel are an American flag, and an inverted St. Andrew's flag, emerged from the interlocked letters "S.A.L.E." beneath the word "Welcome." The dinner menu is listed on the right panel. The menu is mounted on red cardboard.

- Description:
- Sixth card of a six trade card set from the Michigan Stove Company advertising Garland Stoves and Ranges, entitled "Before & After Marriage In Five Acts," drawn by Cassius M. Coolidge and copyrighted by George M. Hayes. On the recto is an image of a man in a black and white checkered shirt with a black top hat resting his head on his left arm with his back facing the viewer and his right arm resting on the back of his hip. In the lower left corner of the recto is an image of a woman in a tan dress chasing someone, of whom only a single leg in mid-run is seen, while brandishing a broom and yelling. The card's title, "Married Five Years," is printed in the bottom right corner of the recto. Printed on the verso is damaged advertising copy stating "With five years passed away, this [...] sees the mistake of a day. A s[...] lesson he has been taught, and has since a Garland bought. Those who have marriage in view, should not fail to likewise do."

- One tax receipt, dated December, 14, 1871, issued by the Wayne County Treasurer's Office in Detroit. It was printed in black text on white paper and indicated that B. Richmond paid $13.47 for state and county taxes on property located at Henry St. W, namely, "Lot 22 & Personal Property." The receipt was signed by "James Collins, D. [Deputy] County Treasurer."

- Softcover booklet entitled, "A Trip Through Our Plant," published by the Ockford Printing Company in 1912. At that time, the company had just moved into a new facility at 68-92 Howard St., Detroit, Michigan. The booklet cover is grayish tan with red and black text. Inside pages include black and red text on white paper with black and white photographs of the printing plant interior and exterior. A blank information request postcard is located on the inside back cover of the booklet.

- One empty envelope addressed to "Miss Madge C. Maybury, 91 Baker St., City" in handwritten black ink. It has a return address stamped in purple ink in the upper left corner that shows "Columbian World's Fair Excursion Association, Ltd., 19 & 20 Newberry Bldg., Detroit." The postmark is dated February 5, 1893.

- One copy of a lease agreement, dated 6 March 1871, made between Arouet Richmond, Frederick H. A. Backus, Benjamin B. Richmond, parties of the first part and Freund & Kast Co., Adolph Freund, Gustavus Kast, S. T------, parties of the second part. The agreement is printed in black text on a sheet of white paper. Blank lines have been completed in handwritten black text. The text indicated that the parties of the first part were leasing rooms in a building located at 183 Jefferson Avenue, to the parties of the second part for two years for a total amount of $400.00. All parties have signed their names at the end of the lease agreement in the presence of two witnesses, "N. North Nay" and "Ignatz Freund."

- Bill of sale, dated September 24th, 1892, from the Michigan Stove Company, documenting the sale of coal to L.J. Macy of Pulaski, New York. At the top of the bill are images depicting the Michigan Stove Company's stove works in Detroit, Western Headquarters in Chicago, New York House, Buffalo House, and Garland Stoves and Ranges logo.

- One promissory note, dated April 6, 1869, that was issued to the Richmond & Backus Company. It was printed in black handwritten text on white paper that has pale red lines. The note terms indicated that "Two years from date, we promise to pay to the order of Richmond & Backus, One Hundred Thirty Five & 27/100 Dollars, with interest at the rate of two percent per annum at T. J. Rand's Bank, Muskegon, Mich., Value received - S. D. Murray, Wm. J. Murray." A ten-cent U.S. Internal Revenue stamp has been affixed to the left side of the note and has black handwritten text that reads "Apr. 6, 1869." The stamp features a blue and white engraved design with a bust of George Washington at the center.
