Description:
One drawing entitled "Fort Wayne, Sketch Showing Method of Connecting the Existing and New Glacis and Covering Masses." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows an overall plan view of the fort walls. A long north arrow line cuts diagonally across the drawing in the upper right area of the plan sheet. Contour lines are shown in a light line weight to represent the existing ground elevations and are shown in a heavy line weight for proposed ground elevations. The edge of the Detroit River (contour line "0") is shown along the lower edge of the sheet. Handwritten text beneath the title shows "Engineer Department, Washington, Aug't 20, 1867. Sent to General Cram with letter of this date."
