Cannon also talks about her education, her desire to learn, participating in an MSU "Upward Bound" program, being the first person in her family to graduate from college, and her job with the State of Michigan. She says that she has a difficult time projecting where she will be in ten years and that a career is not as important to her as continuing to learn.
