- Certificate issued on February 26, 1846, by the Mayor, Recorder, and Aldermen of the City of Detroit, quitting a claim of land given to Peter J. Desnoyers, which was deeded on September 15, 1829, due to the fact that the deed described "by reason of erroneous courses and boundaries, a parcel of ground other than that intended." The certificate is signed by John R. Williams, Mayor of Detroit, E.A. Brush, Recorder, and ten Aldermen, among them J. Owen, F. Buhl, B. Wight, William Barclay, Benjamin B. Moore, Peter Desnoyers, Oliver M. Hyde, C.R. Desnoyers, and B. Woodworth.
