- Located on the southwest corner of South Washington Avenue and West Washtenaw Street. The Knapp's building was "Knapp's Office Centre" from the 1980s to about 2000. The use of South Washington Avenue for parking ended in 1989.

- Seen from Michigan Avenue East. Looking north, W. T. Grant and the Tussing Building are seen on the west side of North Washington Avenue. The rounded roofline of the Mead Hall is seen on the east side of the block. Many people are on the sidewalks. - Located on northeast corner of Washington Avenue North and Ottawa Street East. The Senate Grill is on the corner at 200, perhaps out of business at the time of the photo. The entry to Rich's Bar is seen, it was upstairs at #200 1/2. The PX Mart selling general merchandise was at 202 North Washington Avenue. Upstairs in Room 16 of the Dodge building was the F. J.
