- A GM Firebird "car of the future" on a float, pulled by a convertible in the Lansing Centennial of Transportation Parade on East Michigan Avenue. This was one of three versions of the Firebird concept car that were featured in the parade. - A parade tribute to Oldsmobile down Washington Avenue. Several of the 1961 models are shown, followed by the Lansing Eastern High School marching band. The Gladmer Theatre, Parker's Paint and Wallpaper store, Roy's Steak House, Mark's Jewelry, Vandervoort's Hardware, and many other Washington Avenue businesses are visible. - A "Passion Cross" procession of uniformed Knights Templars on Washington Avenue, marching to "Onward Christian Soldiers." According to the Lansing State Journal, over 5,000 members came from around Michigan for the annual Conclave event which involved the parade, competitive drills held at the Michigan State College stadium, a grand ball at the Masonic temple, a business meeting, a banquet for members and their wives, tours, and other activities. It was to date the largest Conclave to take place in Michigan, in part due to favorable weather conditions. The photograph is taken from an upper floor or the roof of the building at the corner of Ottawa and Washington streets, looking north up Washington Avenue. The Empress Cafe and the Bishop Company can be seen in the 300 block opposite, and further in the distance is the Lansing Storage Company warehouse. On the left a few letters of the Buck's sign can be seen. Two copies.

- Lansing Centennial of Transportation parade. The "traveling jail" Model T paddywagon with a Brothers of the Brush logo on the door. Brothers of the Brush made appearances all over the United States for city centennials in the 20th century, and usually each city held some kind of facial hair growing or shaving contest during centennial celebrations. Sometimes the Brothers would "arrest" any man without a beard and place him in the jail. The Consumers Power Company offices are in the background. Originally part of the Carl Dalrymple Collection.
