- This home, on Dobie Road in Okemos, was built between 1880 and 1885 by Morris Hammond to replace an earlier home destroyed by fire. Hammond had settled there in about 1865 on 200 acres. The cupola was later removed from the home. The couple in the photograph are not identified. This is a duplicate photograph. The original source is unknown.
