Workers are perched atop the struts across the frame pieces near the bow and boards spanning the tops of the frames near the boat's midsection. An overhead crane lowers one of the bulkheads into place near the stern. Another Eagle Boat is under construction in the background. This boat served as the pattern for all other Eagle Boats to be manufactured at the Ford Rouge Complex. This boat, after completion, was then disassembled and each was part given a code number and then used as a template for the other Eagle Boats.
