- One booklet entitled "Manual of the Metropolitan Police of the City Detroit." The manual is bound in black leather and has the title stamped in gold-colored lettering on the front cover. It is printed in black text on white paper and contains 110 pages that list the rules and regulations of the police department. An index is included in the back of the manual. The inside front page contains the handwritten inscription, "Compliments of S. F. Whitman, Supts. Clerk,"

- One tax bill from the Wayne County Treasurer's Office. The bill, dated 1921, was printed in black text on white paper and was issued to Axafit Tyrkus of 12761 Gallagher Street. Blue handwritten text shows the name of the property owner, address, property identification numbers, and the total tax amount of $3.39. Three blue ink stamps are located near the lower center area of the bill.

Two men walk with tools held over their shoulders below. A gated crossing for Sixteenth Street is in the middle ground. The Enterprise Couch and Furniture Manufacturing Company is on the left, and the Standard Pure Food Company is on the right. A caption printed along the bottom left reads, "139-1, W. from the 15th St. Bridge, 5/28/07."

The view shows five workmen who are mixing and pouring concrete into the wooden forms on the trusses in order to create one of the bridge counterweights.
