- Black and white photograph of an elderly man walking on the pier with a bucket in hand. He appears to carefully walking across the ledge along the channel where the Kalamazoo River meets Lake Michigan. The handwriting on the back of the picture reads "Fisherman on pier" although the writing is faint. Additionally, underneath the handwriting there is a stamp which reads: "Saugatuck-Douglas Chamber of Commerce, Saugatuck, Michigan." In the bottom left-hand side there is a stamp which reads: "Joe Armstrong, Allegen, Michigan."

- Postcard of the "Saugatuck Ferry" in Saugatuck, Michigan featuring a large group of people enjoying their ride across the water. The tree-lined shore is nearby in the background. There is no handwriting on the back of the postcard, however, the typed description in the upper left-hand corner reads: "Saugatuck Ferry. Everyone loves to ride across the channel of the Kalamazoo River on the unique chain ferry. The Saugatuck-Douglas area of West Michigan offers the visitor a wide variety of fun-filled activities and excellent accomodations. Relax at Saugatuck."

- Series of four postcards highlighting the natural beauty found in Saugatuck-Douglas, Michigan. The postcards feature the Big Pavilion on the riverfront, the Saugatuck Country Club, a yacht approaching the Saugatuck harbor, and Lake Shore Drive in Douglas, Michigan. All of the postcards are drawings with saturated and vibrant colors. The pictures are primarily of greenery and areas along the water. Circa 1955.

The children are happily looking over the railing to see how the ferry works and small homes can be see in the background. The handwriting on the back of the photograph reads: "Old 6 Line Ferry." Underneath that description, there is the phrase "4" high" written upside down and in the middle there is a lopsided letter B.

- Series of four postcards highlighting some of the prominent recreation spaces in Saugatuck, Michigan. The postcard at the top features tennis courts next to a flower garden, while the two postcards found in the middle feature a dock overlooking the Kalamazoo River and the interior of the Big Pavilion dance hall. Saugatuck's main street is the subject of the postcard located at the bottom of series and it illustrates a quiet intersection in the center of town. Circa 1955.
