- Sepia-tone photo of the entrance to the Woodward Theatre in the National Clothing Systems building on the east side of Woodward Avenue, between Campus Martius and Gratiot Avenue, as taken from the west side of Woodward. A sign above the entrance advertises the film, "The Great Love." The storefront for L. Black Optician, is located to the south. An early automobile is parked in front of L. Black's, several pedestrians are on the sidewalk. A covered walkway has been set up along the sidewalk north of the theatre, suggesting construction on the Newcomb-Endicott Company building above.
