- Notes:
- Walter Marburger, physics professor, working with short wave radio equipment. Marburger was a faculty and chemist in the Physics Department at Western Michigan College of Education from 1925. He was first president of the Faculty Senate from 1958-1959 and founded the VHF Conference for amateur radio operators in 1954. He retired from WMU in 1963 after 38 years of teaching physics and electronics classes. After retirement, he was active in local, state and regional amateur radio operations and operating an amateur radio W8CVQ station from his Kalamazoo home.

- Dean Stack, Jean Smith, Joe Hoy, and Candy Roell meeting with student Norm Barea. Detroit native, Norman I. Barea was a 1956 military student in ROTC program. In 1968, he was appointed the administrative assistant to Dr. Richard F. Whitmore, director of Kellogg Community College, Battle Creek, Michigan. Joseph T. Hoy was the head of the of physical education department for men in 1965. Dr. Roell served as chair of the Women's Physical Education Department from 1960-1967.

Thomas was the basketball coach from 1928-1939 and principle at Central High School in Kalamazoo from 1945-1965. Howard Zandbergen was a cataloging librarian from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. Ruth E. Ellsworth was an assistant professor from Wayne State University and daughter of WMU faculty Frank E. Ellsworth. Lawrence Sutton was the director of studies at Ashridge College, England. Hazel M. Brown was a librarian at Longfellow Elementary School in Royal Oak, Michigan. Eugenia Schmitz was a 1931 WMU graduate and assistant professor of library science at the University of Michigan. Hazel Snyder was a 1949 WMU graduate and teacher at the campus training school.
