- Two architectural drawings with the first entitled "Factory Building for American Die Works, Detroit, Michigan" and the second entitled "East Side Elevation [and] West Side Elevation." The drawings (Job 279) consist of red and black ink on linen and show front and side elevation views as well as a cross-section detail for a proposed 1-story factory building. These drawings, shown at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot, were part of a set of five sheets that were prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect," for a proposed factory building on Milwaukee Avenue.

- One set of architectural "Specifications for American Die Works for a Solid Brick Factory Building Located on the South West Corner of Milwaukee Ave. and Orleans St., Detroit, Michigan." The specifications (Job 279, Set No. 7) are bound in a booklet that has two brass fasteners at the top. The cover is made of heavy tan paper and includes typewritten text for the title. Printed text beneath the title shows the name, "J. Lawson Miller, Architect." The cover interior and outside back cover have printed advertisements for many contractors, tradesmen, and building materials suppliers. The booklet contains 30 pages of typewritten text that give brief descriptions of all of the materials and construction requirements for the project. An index is shown on the first page.
