The subscriber respectfully solicits leave to inform the citizens of Detroit that he intends to open his newly erected School House for the Reception of Scholars, on Monday, the 8th inst. House situated on the eastern extremity of the Michigan Avenue, immediately in the rear of the City Hall, and corner of Randolph and Congress streets. All branches usually taught in Select Schools in this city will be taught in this School, and strict attention paid to the moral conduct of the youth confided to his care and tuition.
