- Photograph. Sepia-toned photo showing the construction of a railroad bridge over the Rouge River. Printed text in the lower right corner of the photo shows the number, "39," and "M.C.R.R. River Rouge Bascule Bridge; Building Counterweight Forms; Feb. 28, 1920; W. B. James Photo." The view looks northward and shows several workmen who are constructing wooden forms on the trusses in order to contain the poured concrete that will create the counterweights. Two construction cranes can be seen in the background. The 2-story brick building for the bridge operator is visible at the far right side. The ground is lightly covered with snow.

- Photograph. Mounted sepia-toned gelatin sliver print of a parade float that was part of the Floral Parade celebrating Detroit's bicentennial, held July 26, 1901. The float is mounted on a streetcar truck and decorated with foliage, a campfire made of light bulbs, a tepee, and a snowshoe suspended from three poles. A sign at the right end of the float notes "Pontiac's Conspiracy." The parade is moving along a residential street and two wood frame houses can be seen in the background, but the street name is not known. Two women and two young girls are visible in the background on the right. Partially visible on the far right is a man releasing the preceding float's trolley pole from the overhead wire.

The envelope has no printing or handwriting on it. Most likely, it was placed inside of the larger envelope that is shown at 2001.061.180.
