- Certificate of election certifying Hazen S. Pingree's election as Governor of Michigan in 1898. It is affixed with the gold seal of the State of Michigan and red, white, and blue ribbon on the bottom left. The text of the certificate is as follows: "State of Michigan Certificate of Election We the undersigned, State Canvassers, from a careful examination of the Election Returns from all the Counties in the State of Michigan, as received by the Secretary of State do determine, as the result of our investigation, that Hazen S. Pingree has been, by the greatest number of votes, duly elected to the office of Governor of said State for the full term of Two Years from the first day of January, A.D. eighteen hundred and ninety-nine at the General Election holden on the eighth day of November A.D. 1898. Witness our Hands, at Lansing, this fifteenth day of December A.D. 1898. Washington Gardner Secretary of State Geo. A. Steel State Treasurer. Wm. A. French Com'r State Land Office. State of Michigan Office of the Secretary of State. I do hereby Certify, That I have compared the foregoing copy of the determination of the Board of State Canvassers with the original on file in this office, and that it is a correct transcript therefrom, and of the whole of such original. In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, and affixed the Great Seal of the State of Michigan, at Lansing, this sixteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eighth. - Program for the Children's Excursion to Bob-Lo held by the Friendship Lodge No. 417 of the Free and Accepted Masons on Sunday, June 24, 1922. A number of events are described for children and adults, including standard foot races; novelty races, like the egg race, balloon race, peanut race, necktie race, fat men's race, and cracker race; a popularity contest; and a baseball game. Prizes are listed for each, often including a box of Sanders chocolate for third place. The back page of the brochure promotes a moonlight cruise on Wednesday, July 12 aboard the STE. CLAIRE with Fizel's Orchestra, and an excursion to Put-in-Bay aboard the PUT-IN-BAY on Wednesday, August 2, 1922. The program doubles as a raffle ticket, and the number 1000 is printed on the cover above a note about the raffle.

- One drawing of Fort Wayne. The drawing consists of black ink and pencil on heavy tan paper and shows a plan view of the walls as well as the gun platform layout of the fort. Gun platform numbers are indicated along with certain fort dimensions. A small inset drawing in the upper right corner area includes notes that show "Outline of Interior Crest of Old Work. Used in laying out work and making drawings; determined as accurately as practicable from measurements of the different fronts in April, 1863. J.J.L. [J. J. Lee]" and "Note. The bottom of new scarp was laid out 43 feet from & parallel with the old crest, except on faces of East Bastion, where it is 45' 3"."

- Black and white photograph, mounted on board, of the parlor of a home that was located at 126 E. Congress. The room has a fireplace, piano, rococo furniture, and portrait paintings. A typed caption on the back of the mounting reads "The parlor of a 3-story brick house on East Congress Street and the corner of Beaubien. It was the home of Alexis Chapoton, (also known as Alexander Chapoton, Sr.) and his wife the former Felice Montreuil of Walkerville, Ont. They were married Feb. 5, 1839."
