Most of the bridge is intact, but there is a pile of rubble in the foreground. A sign at the top of the entrance to the bridge reads “Massillon Bridge Company, Massillon, Ohio”, with a hanging sign underneath which reads “Public Notice – Warning – This bridge unsafe for any load over 6 tons”. Commercial buildings visible on the west side of the river include Van Leeuwen D-?, Federal Motor Trucks, Worden Grocer Company.

Looking south and west, a railroad bridge can be seen farther down the river. Various factories can be seen, including Stow-Davis, Furniture City Upholstery, and a water tower for Hart Mirror Plate Co.
