- This Office Chair, in the collection of The Henry Ford, consists of a chrome pedestal base with four blades, black casters, and the ability to tilt and swivel. This base supports a chair with a padded backrest, seat and armrests covered in brow polynit upholstery. like the base, the arm supports are polished chrome.
Under the seat is the labels for the patent and materials hang tag.
This chair was the first off the line at Herman Miller's Holland Chair Plant and is also know by the name of 'Stumpf Ergon Chair'.

- This zenaloy-plastic armshell chair, in the collection of The Henry Ford, is constructed by molding a thermosetting resin reinforced with gray glass fibers. The metal base is made of bent aluminum wire and is attached to the shell with rubber shock mounts.
Embossed on the bottom with Herman Miller Logo and Patent Label.
