Dear brother I now imbrace the oppertunity To write to you once more although it has been some Time since I have written to you I have not Forgotten you in your afflictions but have prayed That they might be sanctified to your good for the Lord directed willingly afflict the children of men but Tis for their [ ] take as it such I do not know Certainly whether you have the witness of forgiven And your reception in to the family if but I have Had by that you felt these was kneed Of being professed to meet the great judge of quick and dead And although you have been bereaved of a bosom companion That was near and dear to you by the ties of nature yet Remember there is a friend that even will stand by us And although we are called to pass through deep waters Of afflictions yet they shall not harm us know this friend Will stand by us on six troubles and in the seventh will Not forsake us I was glad to learn that Sister died happy In the lord and dear brother if your treasure is in heaven your Seperation will be but short at the longest before you Will hail such thing happy spirits are the fair banks of Deliverance where parting never more shall come
For my part I feel as if any face was set concerned And I am endeavoring by the grace of god to make anyway To heaven where I hope to meet with friends that Have gone before us and those that are now upon the shores of time where we can praise the Lord through the ____less Dye of eternity and with those that have gone through much Tribulation and have washed their robes white in the blood Of the lamb and as for father and mother they remain unconverted but I hope the time is not far distant when They will embrace religion and come over on the side of The lord Mother wants I should refer her to you And tell you she has not forgotten you but should be Glad if you was where she could help you take care of your Children she thinks she should been willing to had harriet Gone and taken care of your children if she had felt Willing to we shoul be glad if it was so that you could come out and live near as so that we could enjoy each other company The rest of our day we want you should write if you Know anything about George and we want you shuld Write to him and let him we are all alive and should Very glad to see him and his family
Emily and Sarah are both married and gone to keeping House Sarah in Martingsburg village ten miles from here And Emily a mile and a half Emily has been sick Ever since she was married and has not been able to Do her work but I think she is rather upon the Gain so she does some of her light work Lucinda has Been sick but has got better and the rest of us are in Tolerable good health harriet still lives at Oriskany I am now at home This from your affectionate Sister Angelina Willcox
