- Buildings in downtown Birmingham located on the west side of [Old] Woodward, just north of Maple Road. The corner building in the foreground is occupied by Levinson's Department Store. In the background are residences along Maple Road and a firehose tower. The photographer was Louis James Pesha, who owned and operated Pesha Postcard Company of Marine City, Michigan. The image of a biplane has been superimposed on the original photograph to create a novelty postcards. The photographer, Louis James Pesha, was known for these whimsical images. - B&W image of commercial buildings along [Old] Woodward at the intersection of Maple Road, looking southwest to the O'Neal Building with awnings, A.R. Parks Meat Market, and a dry goods store. A horse and wagon are stopped at the intersection, and three men are standing nearby. Further south are two women and another horse and carriage. Utility poles and wires are present and the trolley, aka Detroit Interurban Rail (DUR), can bee seen in the unpaved street. Real photo postcard, stamped Azo, manufactured by Eastman Kodak Co.
