Around the corner on East Allegan Street are more shops including the Melba Academy of Beauty Culture at 111 1/2; Chop House restaurant at 113; and Hicks Jewelry at 121. The Lansing Board of Water and Light "Electricity" sign is also visible at the end of East Allegan Street at Grand Avenue.
