- Leo Bauer, a veteran of World War I, joined the Lansing Police Department in 1920 or 1921, was made Sergeant in 1937, and promoted to Lieutenant in 1941. He retired in 1947. His name is spelled incorrectly on this photograph.

- A panorama photograph of many people outside a revival barn, likely in Buffalo, New York, in 1917. Most of the people have a ribbon pinned to their coats that reads "Good Bye Billy, God Bless You." At the center is Evangelist Billy Sunday (standing, in long coat, holding books and papers), and kneeling to the right of Sunday is Chief Alfred Seymour (in police uniform). Seymour provided security service to Sunday during his revival stop in Buffalo. An example of the ribbons seen in the photos is included in this collection.
