Description:
Black and white postcard depicting a trio of attractions at Electric Park--Inferno (containing Herman Menz's devil statue), the concert hall, and the Pier Inn. A fence and a booth are in the foreground. The verso is postmarked August 23, 1906. "All rights reserved H.C. Hawkins, Detroit" is printed along the left edge of the verso.

2. "Inferno", Electric Park, Detroit, Mich.

Description:
Color postcard depicting the Inferno attraction at Electric Park, a maze housing the controversial devil statue made by Herman Menz and previously displayed outside of his home. The building is in the shape of a castle with several gargoyles of differing styles displayed on its walls. The sign above the entrance reads, "Inferno, Menz Devil." A man sits beside the gate. "No. 639 Wolverine News Co., Detroit, Mich. (Printed in Germany)" is printed on the left edge of the verso. The verso also contains a handwritten message--"Have you forgotten me? - Ruth"--addressed to Miss Ross of Cleveland. The card is postmarked August 9, 1908--over two months after the statue was removed from the park.
