The drawing (Job 243) consists of red and black ink on linen and shows a front elevation view, side elevation view, and wall cross-section detail for a proposed 2-story, three family terrace apartment building. The work was being done for "Mrs. Bridget Stackpole" of Detroit, Michigan, at a site "located on the west side of Humboldt Ave. between Perry and Butternut Sts." This drawing, shown at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot, was part of a set of five sheets that were prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect." Some blue, green, and yellow pencil shading has been added on the verso to highlight various architectural details.
