There were 11 slides in a box labeled "Maplewood-Cherry." Nothing on the individual slides distinguishes which images were taken at which school. Cherry Street School was located in the 400 block of South Cherry Street. Maplewood School was in the 2200 block of South Cedar Street.

- This home was built in 1854 by Henry Harrison North, son of Lansing pioneer Joseph E. North Jr. and his wife Almira Buck. Henry North's log cabin initially stood on this lot, and he then built this brick home himself on E. Northrup Street at S. Cedar St. It was torn down in the summer of 1985. Image no. 273.
