- Four General Foods cars, 1948 Plymouths, with drivers in their suits and ties standing by each one. The cars are festooned with signs advertising Post Krinkles, the newest breakfast rice treat. They are parked on a hill overlooking the Grand Rapids, looking west, likely from Belknap Hill with St. Adalbert's Basilica visible on the left.

- Campau Square and Pantlind Hotel. as well as nearby buildings, looking northwest. The street scene includes two streetcars and several automobiles, but no pedestrians. In the intersection from the right side is a kiosk for “Free Tourist Information” established by the Department of Public Safety. To the left of the hotel is the Home State Bank, a Victorian style building with an elaborate clock tower. To the left of that is the Friedman Spring store. At the right side of the image, across the street from the Pantlind, is the Hong Ying Lo Co. Chinese restaurant, advertising “Chop Suey,” and “American and Chinese”.

- Campau Square including the Pantlind Hotel, but focused toward the Rood Building on Pearl and Monroe. Part of the Building & Loan building next to the Pantlind, farther along Monroe, can be seen. On the main level of the Rood building, below the Chinese restaurant (Hong Ying Lo) are Fox’s Jewelers, the National Shoe Repair Co. and W.L. Douglas Shoes. Parked in front of the shoe repair store is a delivery van for Lincoln Park Dairy, in full side view. Various contemporary automobiles are seen on the street, as well as a couple of people on the streetcar island.

- Looking west on Monroe from the corner of Market. Along the left side of the image is S.S. Kresge Co., Charles Trankla & Co., Dr. Milo Rathbun, dentist, W. T. Grant Co. store, and Home State Bank. On the right side of the image is Houseman and Jones. There are many parked cars at the side of the street, including Deeb’s Tailor’s van, and streetcar tracks in the brick pavement. The Pantlind Hotel is at the end of the block.

- The exterior of Gordon Food Service building at 320 State Street SE with four Gordon Food Service Trucks. which are Studebaker trucks from Gezon Motors. The trucks advertise Gordon Food Service products, including Tast-T-Nuts, Rival Dog Food, Instant Nestle's Sweet Milk Cocoa, Mrs. Grass' Vegetable Noodle Soup, Durkee's Vegetable Margarine. Visible in the background is the McAuley Building's tower, part of the St. Mary's Hospital complex, as well as neighboring houses to the west, 318, 316, and to the east, a brick home at 330 State St.

- First pictures taken from Grand Rapids National Bank at the 15th story. Five small photos, 3 views, reproduced on a black background. Two similar or even identical views look north up the river, and two similar or identical views look south down the river, and one view looks primarily east. One of the river views shows the Wurzburg building, Heyman’s, and the Building and Loan building. The land view shows the County Court House.

- View of Monroe Avenue looking west from the corner at Division, showing many of the buildings facing Monroe, with the Pantlind Hotel at the end. At this date, The Porter Block at Division and the Gilbert building at Commerce are still standing. At the right is the Peck building, Guidotti's Hats, among others. Herpolsheimers Department Store can be seen a few blocks down Monroe on the left. Five-globe street lamps grace the street.
