On the right side of the image is Houseman and Jones. There are many parked cars at the side of the street, including Deeb’s Tailor’s van, and streetcar tracks in the brick pavement. The Pantlind Hotel is at the end of the block.

- The Monument Square Building on Monroe, corner of Sheldon. Corner view of a 2-story building of white tiles, with large windows on both levels. Large awnings shade, with the words "Daane Witters," the windows and entrances on the lower level. Many contemporary automobiles are parked along the street, and a white Hekman’s truck can be seen in front view near the right side of the image. The Y.M.C.A. building is to the right. The Benjamin Insurance Agency can be seen on the left side of the building, as well as other unidentified buildings farther down. The Pantlind Hotel can be seen in distant view on the far left of the image.
